One account for your paycheck. Another for everyday spending. A digital wallet, an investment on another platform, and some savings in a different currency.

Each place shows part of the picture. But when you want to decide how much you can spend, how much to set aside, or whether you’re getting closer to a goal, you have to put it all together: open several apps, check balances, and bring the numbers into the same spreadsheet.

We’re building Dovra to make that information part of one plan: create a budget, record what happens, and see your accounts, savings and investments together.

The first version is still in development. These are the main problems we’re working to solve.

Make room for your goals in your budget

A trip, an emergency fund or a shared project needs room between what comes in and what goes out. When saving means setting aside “whatever is left,” it’s hard to know how much you can put toward a goal or when you might reach it.

That’s why we want your budget to connect the numbers with what you want to do. Plan your income and expenses, see what’s available, and decide how much to set aside.

For example, if you want to save for a trip, you can start by looking at where those savings fit over the next few months. The amount you had in mind might not fit your current budget. Seeing that early gives you time to rethink the timeline, the cost of the trip or another expense, and decide what matters most to you.

Then the month unfolds, and things turn out differently: an expense you hadn’t planned for, a change in income, or something that costs less than expected. Comparing your budget with recorded transactions helps you understand what changed and what to adjust next month.

We want Dovra to support that whole process: make a plan, see what happened, and decide what comes next.

Spend less time entering data

A budget needs current information. Keeping it up to date can become a repetitive task: open a statement, find each transaction, and copy the date, description and amount.

If you use several accounts or wallets, you repeat that work for each one. The information already exists somewhere, but getting it into the records you use to stay organized still takes time.

We’re developing AI-assisted file reading to suggest transactions and balances from statements or screenshots. The idea is to let you start with information you already have and review the details before adding them.

The benefit we’re aiming for is straightforward: spend less time copying data and make it easier to keep your information up to date.

See your accounts, savings and investments together

You may know exactly how much is in your everyday account and still need three other apps to find out how much you have saved and invested.

That’s one of the main reasons we’re building Dovra: to bring information from all those accounts into one view.

We want you to be able to distinguish available money from invested money, see how it’s spread across accounts, and go back to the details to understand where each balance comes from. The total gives you a starting point; the details help you connect it to your spending and your plans.

That also means working with multiple currencies. Each account keeps its original currency, and the consolidated view lets you choose which currency to use for the total. This lets you compare balances that would otherwise be expressed in different currencies.

Your money stays with the banks, wallets or platforms you use. Dovra brings the information together so you can understand the whole picture and keep it in mind when planning.

One plan, your way

It could be your personal budget, your household finances or a project with friends. The people and arrangements may change, but you still need to decide what you want to do, what resources you have, and how to keep track of the plan.

We’re designing Dovra for those different ways of organizing your finances: on your own, as a couple, with family or with friends. When a budget is shared, we want it to help you talk about the expenses you need to cover, everyone’s contributions, and the goals you want to prioritize.

The first version of Dovra

We’re still building the first version. On our homepage, you can explore a demo with fictional data to see how the budget, transactions, and savings and investments views fit together.

We want Dovra to help you make a plan, keep the information you need to follow it up to date, and revisit it when things change.
